Security Assurance Specialist

Play an important role and join our Security Governance and Assurance Team to ensure the provision of prudent security strategy, policy and standards across Te Pūtea Matua’s technology environment.

Te tūranga – The role

The Security Assurance Specialist provides information security assurance to stakeholders, using their risk and information security expertise to perform assurance activities for the delivery of projects and programmes and providing advice and guidance to ensure adoption of and adherence to information security architectures, strategies, policies, standards and guidelines.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Contributing to the development of the Bank’s security management framework
• Ensuring the evaluation and integration of new technology is delivered
• Contributing to the development and execution of security risk, intrusion scenario planning and crisis management exercises within the directorate and across business stakeholders.
• Assessing security risks and controls across the Bank’s entire technology estate
